How did you do the sprouts last night?
Posted on 1/23/17 at 1:32 pm to BRgetthenet
I fried mine the first week but lsu777 brought me to an intervention and now I only bake them

Popped bag in microwave for 5 minutes :/
Sauteed them in the chilay sauuuuce on the stove for about 4-5 minutes
Idk how to cook

I think you have to fry them for Blue Oak style. I typically cut them in half, sprinkle with some kind of oil & salt/pepper/seasoning, then bake them at a 425 or so til they start to brown. Stir them once in awhile so they don't burn. They usually take longer to cook than I expect.
Microwave & pan will make them kinda mushy. Like boiled cabbage texture. Not awful, but not what you want if you want them crispier.

Yea that's what it was like.
So you think stir them in the sauce before putting them in the oven?

I'd roast for maybe 15 or so minutes without the sauce, add it, and bake again for another 5-10 mins. I'd worry about the sauce burning if you put it on there from the start.

Gotcha. I'll try it again tomorrow.

jeez. congrats on the lower bf. can't imagine 330g. 225g seems like a lot currently.
ETA: Started putting my protein powder in my 3 o'clock cup of coffee. Wonderful. Not sure why I haven't done this my whole life.

I'll have to give bulletproof coffee a shot even though I don't even typically like it with creamer and other unhealthy shite
Is it just black coffee with heavy whipping cream?
I'd like to become a coffee drinker because I'm not a morning person at all

Anything is possible. Coffee is a wonderful drug.
It's typically made with coffee + unsalted grassfed butter + coconut/mct oil.
I would put a small amount of liquid stevia in it for a little bit of sweetness. Looking forward to keto soon so I can start drinking it again.
ETA: there's tons of varieties of recipes for bullet proof coffee, but I keep it simple.

If you use coconut oil, you don't need any sweetner. I have a Walmart $10 mini blender at work to make BP coffee

330 g of protein better include a lot of miralax.

May have to snag some of that. Keto keeps me pretty bloated feeling. At least the first couple days. Been drinking at least a gallon of water

Found a keto pizza on that same site earlier I'm going to attempt this weekend

Use Rao's marinara and it'll be good.

Going to have to try that cake with halo top a couple days after I hit my goal weight.
