no you might be but prolly not. I would suggest not doing the cheat day but if you are determined too do the following
Saturday afternoon-Perform a pump/volume workout so that your muscles are primed for the glycogen
Sunday morning- perform a full body strength workout. This should be as heavy as possible with all sets a max of 6 reps. This is to take advantage of the carbs and use it to build strength.
Sunday Afternoon- perform a full body tension/glycogen depletion workout were you spend a lot of time under tension and perform atleast one exercise per body part and two for the big muscles.
Monday Morning-Sprints to complete the glycogen depletion.
This will minimize impact of a carb up and will get you back into ketosis asap. Lyle McDonald talks about this in Ultimate Diet 2.0 and in the bodyopus diary.

TKE, here are your macros and diet for rapid fatloss diet. Just guessed you would want 3 meals.

But there's practically zero chance I'll already be in ketosis after only a week eh?
No idea. My switch wasn't too bad because I made sure I had adequate salt, food intake, and coffee to keep my energy up.
There are people who drag and drag on for longer. My question is, why? If there is no reason to you will just be in limbo. Just stay on the wagon for a month, you'll know. Your mood and energy will increase. It is a very pleasant experience to get the crap out your body.

I agree with Junky. I was in fitness limbo for most of 2016. Definitely not worth it. Just eat ya meats.

Came to an epiphany that I could just drop a few breast strips in the fryer instead of doing wings. I actually prefer that. Probably makes me a communist
Still gonna try to limit the use of the fryer/vegetable oil

Stop frying stuff. Wings are better grilled anyways.
Seriously if you wanna learn to live a healthy life style you are gonna have to learn to not deep fry things, it's that simple. Yes it might be low carb but the trans fat is terrible for you, it's the only kind of fat that is bad(well an out of whack balance of omega 6 vs omega 3 is bad too)
Do you not like steaks? What about baked wings? Grilled chicken thighs? Grilled, sautéed or steamed seafood? There are so many more things I could name, just stay away from the fryer, save it for a cheat day. Go buy you some big arse lamb chops and grill them, 100 times better than fried wings.

Man, I realize everything you're saying. This is literally my first week going keto. I in no way intend to eat fried chicken every night for the rest of my life. I'm still feeling my way out and planning different meals for each week
I lost 80 lbs year before last doing "clean eating" and basically just tracking macros. I'm not completely new to health and diet, just new to keto
Frying things day in and day out was never part of the long term plan

On a more serious note, I've read things that debunk the red meat/cholesterol myth and then things that support it.
Is there a limit to how much you think it should be consumed a week?

Dietary cholesterol has next to nothing to do with blood cholesterol levels. Eat red meat to your hearts content.

Cholesterol is a response to inflammation in the body. Dietary cholesterol doesn't effect that and neither does saturated or really fat in general. Now with that being said one thing that can cause inflammation from fat is when your ratio of omega 6 vs omega 3 gets out of whack. In general we take in way way too many omega 6 fatty acids due to the way our food is raised now and the ratio in the meat getting screwed up due to the grains they are fed.
Grass fed beef/buffalo, free range chicken and eggs, fresh seafood etc all have properly balanced natural ratios so it really helps ours.
But overall it's not gonna really hurt your cholesterol so long as you stay away from processed carbs. And taking about 8g of fish oils a day will balance out your ratios.
Fats get the blame though when they don't deserve it. Junky put it best, it's like blaming the fire department for the fire just because they are there.

Feeling real good this AM. Didn't weigh in though. Figured the scale has been on the move so much I might as well wait until next week.
