One step a head. My farmer does grain finished beef, but we get them before the grain as grass fed beef. Local farmers are the way to go. We pay for butcher so the farmer isn't out anything. Win win. I don't get everything from there.....yet. My ground beef is either vinison or store bought grain feed. Grass vs grain fed beef differences aren't too much to freak out about.
I'd recommend eatwild.com as I've seen others use it. It is supporting state farmers and you know where it comes from.

Fellas. Starting keto. Like I said a week or so ago, first week or two my dinner will be wings with maybe some mashed cauliflower.
I need a keto lunch I can bring to work that doesn't have to be warmed to taste fine. I've planned on sausage with an avacodo or something similar. Was wondering if any experts had suggestions
My family has ~30 head of beef cattle so access to quality ground beef isn't an issue
May do chicken Caesar salad

Weight has varied a little got down to around 206 then I started lifting a lot heavier with better workouts and started falling off the low carb train the second half of the year.
I look/feel better than I ever have and but on some good muscle. After this crash diet I'm going strict keto. It's gonna be rad.

I love spinach salads with chicken or leftover steak cold. Another thing I would do is put scrambled eggs lined with bacon in the cupcake tins and bake them. They are little scrambled eggs and bacon cup cakes. I eat those cold. Hard boiled eggs work well as well. I'm sure others can chime in.

Lost some willpower last thursday before leaving to go see my family for Christmas. One of the ladies at work always brings a bag of chocolate covered pecans to give to everyone and I managed to eat the whole bag in one sitting that night (about 2k calories). Then proceeded to spend my off day on Friday eating a bunch of carby shite followed by carbs most of the weekend at my brother's.
All that said, I'm only up 1.5 - 2 pounds from before my carb binge and I've been back to no carbs since Monday, so I'm actually pretty happy with where the scale is at right now. I fully intend to get back in the gym at the start of the new year.

That paper is very well done. I hope the average person starts to catch on to this and pays attention.

I was browsing some different videos today.
Total came out to be around ~$45
How to shop keto on a $50 budget
ETA: Full disclosure, I didn't watch the entire video so I have no idea what he bought.

Best advice I can get you is check the online ads for the grocery stores around you and check the prices of meat and get the best you can for the macros you need/plan to eat and use the rest on veggies, seasonings, etc
You can routinely find chicken thighs and fryers for under a dollar per lbs and best usually under 2 a lbs. ground beef usually can be gotten on special under 2 per pound. Steaks usually go on sale pretty cheap too, like this week at Krogers bone in strips are 3.99 lbs and last week I got whole ribeye roast for 4.99 and whole New York strip roast for around 3 per pound.
I make plenty to be able to afford whatever but I am a cheap arse mfer but I like to eat well so every week I check the local ads and when I am near by that place I stop in and grab what I can use. Before I was doing that I was spending 200/week for me and my 2 boys lunches. Prolly 175 of that being just me. Now I can get away with about half that.

I buy eggs by the 2.5 dozen. May not be the best quality but it isn't THAT important.
I do this "meat pizza" of 3lbs ground beef in the oven with mozzarella and pepperoni (most expensive thing) with buying bacon ends....the ends are cheaper. Two of these babies can cover me for 4-5 days and is around $30-35 (with eggs) with two 3lbs packs of beef. I don't care about how great it taste, but I enjoy it. Tonight was bacon ends and may have some hard boiled eggs. I hard boil regularly and eat them as I go. It is cheap, fast, and majorly convenient with easy clean up.
Buy the whole chicken, mine are .89 cents a pound. I can get two dinners out of that for $2.50 per. Thighs are cheap too, but you can't beat the whole chicken.
I buy chuck roasts and cut them into steaks - the roasts of all cuts are cheaper.

Cayenne, salt....I use the buffalo or hot sauce. the gf gives me crap for that but I shrug it because I don't have the "need" to eat a District doughnut.

After quick google apparently ms dash has hidden carbs

It is easy. Just form up 3 lbs in a 13x9 pan lined with nonstick. I cook it in the oven at 400 for 30-35 minutes (cooked through). I turn the broil on and put cheese, pepperoni, and bacon on top and place it in for another 4 minutes, afterwards I let it set for 15 to absorb its goodness fats. Sometimes I remove the excess water/fat but always leave some so it reabsorbs it.
Of course, I pour wing sauce on it. All and all, only trace carbs. I'd love to know the calorie count just to know.
