I always tend to try to reward myself on Wednesdays at lunch as if making it through the first half of the week without cheating is an accomplishment

Gonna try to hold strong today

While on Keto, do any of you get the runs if your meal has too many hidden carbs in it? Seems I know within 10 mins of eating if I made a mistake.

What's everyone's plan for Thanksgiving? Powering through paintrain style or taking a reprieve and enjoying the holiday meal?

not so much runs, but when I carb up I definitely get gassy.

Gotta take a day off to have some Machino's world famous mushroom soup, stuffed mirliton, and lots of other starchy carby sugary fatty fatness.

Sure as hell ain't going to be eating that many carbs. I'll load my plate up with turkey alone before I feel like I did last week.

ETA: Might even go to the LSU game in college station and avoid the whole eating too much thing completely.

I'm planning to take vyvanse to kill my appetite, then enjoy a few bites of whatever sounds good.

Planning on paintraining through it. There's plenty of keto-friendly stuff on the menu; braised cabbage, roasted turkey, picnic ham, green bean casserole, salad, smothered okra

Got me a chicken wrap at Spotters. This "healthy" place in Hammond that does wraps and smoothies and stuff. Eat there everyday I have class almost. Success!

we had a board meeting at work the other day (I work in the corporate office, so have to attend lunch with all the important people) and it was a thanksgiving style lunch. Fruit Salad for appetizer, then Pork Loin, Stuffing, roasted carrots and green beans followed by Apple Cobbler.

I traded my apple cobbler away for someone's pork, ate the green beans and half a carrot...pushed the delicious looking fruit salad to the side and managed to ignore the stuffing completely.

As for real thanksgiving, I'm skipping it this year. any time I ever get a day off (long weekend) for work, I travel 3-5 hours to visit family...I just want to enjoy some time off to myself where I don't have to go anywhere, so I should be full on keto. May make my own turkey or something at home with some green beans and/or roasted broccoli and some Halo Top (haven't had it ages) for dessert.

gonna make Turkey day my bitch this year.

I think I've been volunteered to make a pecan pie and some potato dish for Thanksgiving so I will likely be off the train.

Tried Frey smoked meats tonight. They were out of brisket, pork belly, beef ribs, and a few other things.

Tried the wings. Wings nice size and good, but not enough smoke flavor and sauce can't touch blue oak's house made inferno sauce.
