Lol. Burn!

Rouge may be too short to be my stand in, anyway.

Had a normal size bowl of gumbo for dinner with no rice.
A few flax seed crackers
No dessert.

Probably lost 5 pounds yesterday on adrenaline and watching us MAGA.

Haha

Nice try. Think you can get me naked that easily? No dice precious.

I need to be whined and dined a little.

Unreal

so, I took a big step this week in my attempt to eat chicken wings, and managed to actually buy fresh wings and not frozen ones. I've never cut up chicken before or really done anything other than cook chicken breast.

Wings last night were pretty damn amazing (by my home cooked standards) and I don't think I'll be going back to frozen anytime soon

Marine Corps birthday today. I usually spend it drinking some rum and smoking a cigar. I may end up naked before the day is over.
When I finished boot camp, in 1996, I was 189 lbs. I'm not far off 20 yrs later.

I'll try to remember to weigh in.

Kick arse. That is awesome!

I love this train wreck of a diet group. Somehow, I'm losing weight by merely being here.

I don't know if this is a dig at my height, or if you're gunning for a homoerotic threesome

honestly...I just cut 'em up and threw them in the oven on a cooling rack (in a cookie sheet) and then after 25 minutes I salted the shite out of them and tossed them back in the oven. aka...I didn't really prep them.

had some sort of buffalo/ranch wing sauce that I found at winn-dixie to dip them in after they were done. Came out nice and crispy. (I live in an apartment, so no grilling for me)

yeah I guess that's what I meant...how did you cook them. I've done boil + broil, I've done just bake/broil. I've done fry, and I've done confit style double fry. The double fry was the best by far, but took a while.

Net smokes his and fries them, blue oak style. I don't currently have a smoker, otherwise I'd do them that way.

I typically just bake mine, sauce them, then broil them for a couple of minutes to get a good crisp and char. I avoid frying because I can eat more for the same calories

in the oven at 400 for 25 min then I flipped them and back in for another 20 minutes. The cooling rack is key...I just got that thing about a week ago and it has helped tremendously...although I guess to be fair maybe it's the difference of fresh vs frozen, but they don't sit in juices like they used to do when I just used cookie sheet + foil.

If I turn on the broiler it starts to smoke really bad and the smoke alarm is hard wired into one of the rooms close by...so I can't really turn it off, so I don't use the broiler

What are y'all having for dinner?
