pretty sure i just got F*CKED.

Went to a spot to pick up a steak for a lazy dinner , pretty sure the ribeye i ordered wasn't even a ribeye. it was shaped like the heal of butt roast or something. No flavor , No marbling at all but the edges were lined with tendons galore and one cap of fat on the end.
Do ya'll think beef prices are so screwed that some restaurants may be selling cheap cuts of meats as something they aren't and marking it up to reflect the inflation of beef or what.

Honestly, I don’t enjoy many restaurant steaks like I do my own…. Even when we go to Lester’s, I prefer getting my their tuna or seabass over steak because they do things that I can’t with those dishes.

I wouldn't dream of ordering a steak from a restaurant right now unless it was a legit steakhouse. I have no doubt that meat prices are absolutely crushing what restaurants that are open

Usually I feel the same way and will go down to our local butcher and have some fresh cuts made.

I've never heard of meat glue for ribeyes. Filets yes.
