Microbrews are absolutely 100% domestic beers. Just because they don't suck arse doesn't mean they're not.

It is interesting to see how mainstream decent beer is becoming. Just in the last 5 years, guys are finally realizing they have options.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Newcastle

Last fall I had Piton Beer in St. Lucia. It was really good, but maybe due to the surroundings?

Domestic-shiner bock holiday cheer (I wish they brewed it year round)
Import-pike's kilt lifter (it as if drunken flavor angels had an exquisite orgy on your tongue)

Technically, "Domestics" are the big boys such as Budwieser, Miller, Coors. In that case, I don't like any domestics.

Abita would be classified as something else. I've heard it classified as a "craft" beer or "microbrew" or some such.

If it's brewed domestically, it's domestic. Regardless of whether it's a macro or micro.

eta: They list them differently on bar/restaurant menus because of price difference only.

As do I, but I don't define the classifications. And don't really care either. I just pointed it out for the sake of the discussion.

Glad to see some love up in here for the Oskar Blues beers. Old Chub was always a favorite for me.
