re: Are there good quality DIY bedliners?

I had good luck with Monstaliner, holding up pretty good after a year of abuse. Lots of good reviews from jeep guys too.

I'd stay away from the newer 870s , picked one up from Academy last year and it wouldn't eject spent shells of any brand. You literally had to beat the stock on the ground and sometimes that just ripped the rim off. Used a bore mop and polishing compound to clean the chamber up, it's alot better now.

What side of the Northshore? Hanks Tint and Bedliner in Hammond/Ponchatoula is real good.
Years ago Hank used to good work, had a friend post the other day that his bed liner was coming up in sheets. Several other people chimed in with the same issue, looked like zero prep work under the bedliner. The paint was still shiny.

You can buy caliber specific. Most people go with a 30cal magnum rated can as their first. Typically that covers 22 cal CENTERFIRE to 300 win. Careful you don't bend your op rod on that M1A. Do your research before hand but depending on model you may have to modify it.
Have you had anyone use the single shot trust that silencershop has listed on their site?

South Tangipahoa Hunting Club borders the west side of our property on Turnpike Road. I think they kill a few deer there. The property was part of a USAAF bombing ranging during WW2.
Bucks only, hard to find an open spot and they run dogs...

Is it possible to put in on bedico creek at the hwy 22 bridge? I've seen people parked there a few times.

Pretty sure the old Tallow Creek owners just opened up Bedico Creek Shooting Grounds off Traino landing.

Great looking car, who did the paint and body work?

With all the information and research out there today about buck to doe ratio how could the lease members come to the conclusion to not shoot does? Sounds like a bunch of old men that you would hear back in the 80s comparing the deer herd to their cow herd and how if you shot the mama cows you wouldn't have any calves. They had no idea about carrying capacity and the tendency of old does to run off young bucks from their territory.
From what I've been told its been this way since the 80s, so my guess is it will continue to be bucks only till the end. Worse part is they run dogs too, and as someone that has run dogs before I know you dont get enough time to check for horns.. You ground check then see what it is after the fact.

The lease I'm currently in is no does, so you know what happens... It comes to the point where people want meat, so if it has horns it's down. IMO more little bucks would walk if each person could take one doe a year. I think I've had one trip this year where I didn't watch multiple does just hang out in the food plot for hours, and thats saying something for tangi.

May be the timing chain tensioner, I know the older mod motors had problems. Had one come into a friends shop one time that had so much slack it had eaten through the timing cover.

+1 for bedico creek preserve, lots of trails from before it was developed. Goes all the way to cc road and down the side of I12.
