True. Man, fast food is expensive as a whole though. People are spending $10/per on drive-thru meals?

I have learned that if you start a successful chain restaurant business by starting in Baton Rouge this board will hate you to the bone

To be fair, they started in BR...grew it into a monster because of local support, then moved their HQ to Dallas

As a CPA they did the right thing. They still give tons of jobs and money to the LA economy. People are getting mad at Phil Mickelson for thinking about moving out of California. If the states dont want to lose businesses and people, make it enticing to stay. Dont fault Graves for doing what is right for his business

Yep. Think of a combo at Wendy's for example. A Dave's Double or chicken sandwich is about 8 bucks before tax.

Chick fil a is surprisingly cheap for its popularity.

In BR, a regular box is $8 and the Caniac is $12.

I love how with years of conditioning, people have come to call that a great deal

I went to my local Cane's and they only had "MP" on the menu in place of the cost.

Yea $12 bucks for Canes is crazy imo. Now I know I will be full and barely able to move but why even go there? (besides to get the lemonade)

If you want fried chicken, there are much better deals at the grocery stores in the area. I cant think of one grocery store in the area around me in BR that doesnt have plate lunches with fried chicken available. Its cheaper and tastes better than Canes. You can get a number of different sides and walk out with a full lunch for less.

Do you realize the demographics of fantasy sports are wide ranging to say the least. My 58 year old mother in law is an avid fantasy football player, as are most of her sports friends. Weak argument there. And, what's the argument about watching baseball?

$12-13 will get an 11 piece from Popeyes.

I'd get that before I bought chewy little chicken strips.

No way. Unless you're getting lemonade and including the tax. There is no way that is the price on the menu.

Goddamn. They must have just done that. I was in town for a class a month ago and went there and the prices were the same as Walt had posted (which are must of the locations around NOLA).

The original box in the mid to late 90s had much more food than the Caniac does today.
