I went to Rouse's this morning and noticed a woman with her basket loaded down with pork loin They had half pork loins for .99 a pound. That's a pretty good price for pork loin. I grabbed the only two I saw but I'm sure they had more in the back.

And usually they have a 2-3 package limit when on sale that much, but people don't abide by it and the cashiers don't give a rat's arse either.
Rouses does put pork, chicken leg quarters and split breasts on sale very regularly. If you miss the sale this month, wait a few weeks and it's back on.
Problem is, load the freezer now and hope for no big storms to cut power for weeks on end. I tend to try to empty my freezer this time of year to get things down to a minimum loss.

Good lord where do you live?
I buy whole loins and cut a couple roasts then thin chops and pound them out Milanese style. Dust in seasoned flour and sauté high hot and fast in a bit of butter and oil and serve with a lot of lemons to squeeze over them.

It is and it’s easy and quick. Chicken and a beef eye of round works well too.

I like to cut them about 1 1/4" thick and smoke them to 145. Glaze with a pepper jelly/bbq sauce mixture the last 10 minutes.

That too. Just don’t over cook or they are dry as a mule fart.
