I think 3rdrowtailgater used to work as a brewer at the place in your avitar.

It's a cool local Savannah place. Food is pretty good and they only serve their own brews. It's fun to get the flight and taste them all.

I usually order a Bud Light. They look at me sort of baffled then I laugh.

Ya, I know "cool story bro."

Studies have been done, peer reviewed studies, that both prove and disprove global warming. What do you mean to demonstrate with your statement?

Seriously...I'm turning into a beer snob but I can't tell the difference in wine. 3 buck chuck works for me. But yeah the Merlot is definitely better than the whites

I said I couldn't tell the difference after the first glass.

eta: Sorry. Misread what you wrote.

I bought two bottles of Chuck while I was in SF for Thanksgiving. Drank 1 and tossed the other. Not a wine snob by any mean; I rarely spend more than $15 per bottle. Just didn't care for it at all.

That's fair. There's some cheap wine that I don't care for either.

Maybe I'd like wine a bit more if it had a bit of carbonation. It just tastes flat to me every time I drink it.

There are many varieties of sparkling wines, both white and red. Try some.

I had some white wine from Trader Joes on Saturday and it was almost undrinkable... I have had better luck with their reds.

Hmmmm...the cab was okay, but I did buy a bottle of the chardonnay and stuck it in the fridge. Consensus seems to be the white wine sucks. Guess I'll have to find out!

Thanks. I'll just stick to beer. Got enough varieties of those in my cellar.

That's fine, if that's what you prefer. I was just offering options. FWIW, I enjoy a wide variety of drinks (in addition to other things). I hate to limit myself to just wine, beer, whiskey, etc.

I enjoy the beers aged in wine barrels, like the Goose Island sisters. I've got so many styles of beer, I rarely get bored.

Then there's bourbon...
