Just tried my first PSCS. Won't be a popular opinion on here but I'll stick with CFA's spicy sammich. I'll give this to Popeye's though...the spicy mayo sauce is definitely a good thing. Also, I'm all about their red beans and rice, especially on a Monday.

Went by the local Popeyes for a late lunch (2 P.M.), hoping they had the PSCS for sale. Pulled in the lot, saw no signs for the PSCS. There were 2 cars ahead of me in the drive thru and it looked like it was going to take a while before I could get to the ordering kiosk and ask if they finally had it (a week after "official" launch - this one still doesn't).
Instead of risking a 30 minute wait for nothing, I backed up and drove across the road to CFA, ordered a Spicy Chicken Deluxe, drove back by the Popeyes and the exact same 2 cars were still in the exact same spots they were when I went to CFA.
My scorecard still has CFA reigning as the champion of the chicken sandwich war.
Instead of risking a 30 minute wait for nothing, I backed up and drove across the road to CFA, ordered a Spicy Chicken Deluxe, drove back by the Popeyes and the exact same 2 cars were still in the exact same spots they were when I went to CFA.

Basic question...Does anyone ever go inside to order? Almost everyone on here pulls in that drive up and yells an order through a two way speaker.

Me, too....I go inside, I will say that on a recent visit to my hometown Popeyes, I was the youngest person inside by two decades. Plenty of young ppl in the drive .

I've had 5 of these in the last 2 weeks. I had one that wasn't very good, but the others have been spot on. I now order with extra sauce.

If Popeyes could get some competent people working they would beat out every one else. Selling chicken has the be the hardest job on earth..
Sunday I pull up to the drive through the girl ask if she can take my order it went like this..
“I would like a spicy chicken sandwich meal with sweet tea and Frys.”
Her reply. “Can u hold on”
3 minutes later she comes back “ok go ahead with the rest of your order”
me “that’s all I needed”.
Her “can you order again”
Me “I would like a spicy chicken sandwich meal with sweet tea and frys”
Her “ do you want that mild or spicy
Me loud “SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH MEAL WITH FRYS AND SWEET TEA”
Her “ what side”
Me “ is this a dam joke?, frys fricking frys”

Finally I get to the window 15 minutes later the first thing they ask when the window opens is .. did you want that chicken sandwich spicy or mild?
I fricking loose my mind and start yelling I really don’t know what I was saying. Just randomly cursing and throwing in the words spicy chicken fricking sandwich meal what the hell don’t y’all understand about a simple order like a fricking spicy chicken sandwich meal.

i’ve has this sandwhich almost a dozen times and not once i’ve i had a bad customer service experience. worst is I usually ask for a sauce and they forget it and so have to ask for it at the window

Felt like this needed to be posted. I get the beans and slaw on top, but this is straight up psychotic. Someone needs to check on their girl.
