Where can I get some good Poboy bread? Not that store made crap. Actual name brand? Suggestions please!

I have seen Leidenheimer on the bread aisle and in the bakery of a few Rouses and Winn Dixies.

Rouses carries Leidenheimer. Southside Produce has it too.

So does Hi Neighbor. The one on Jones Creek usually does.

It’s not humid enough in Baton Rouge to get proper po’boy bread. Need to go down to New Orleans for that

yeah, many Rouses will carry the Leidenheimer but you may want to ask store management about exactly what day delivery is otherwise picking up day old Leidenheimer will leave you fairly unsatisfied. Leidenheimer bread ages extremely quickly.
