I wonder if this will thin out the fried shrimp and strawberry daiquiri crowd at Chimes East.

Should definitely help. It's crazy how different the clientele gets after 8:00 at the Chimes East. The bar crowd remains pretty consistent throughout the night though.

We must not be talking about the same place.

BWW is bad, but I really hate Pluckers service. I got boneless wings one time and they were completely dry like they forgot about putting sauce on it. I asked for sauce on the side (I wouldn't dare send it back) and the waiter literally told me to "stop complaining and eat your food." Never had anyone friendly there serve me either. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I would give BWW C+ and Pluckers a D for service.

That's because Cane's took all the quality chicken serving folks. I know this because 225 said they were second only to Ruth's Chris.

I would ask for the manager then tell him what happened followed by leaving without paying.

That is one jackass that needs a boot in his arse.

i used to work at pluckers and i can confidently say i don't think anyone would ever say that. granted the people that work there are young but none of them are assholes. at least not when i was there.

i'm offended you think the service is that bad. unless you've had horrible service multiple times you can't label a place that badly. people may not always give the perfect service but i seriously doubt that came out of someone's mouth.

did you tell a manager you were treated that badly? because if you would have i'm sure they would have found a way to make it better.

The red lobster opening has gotten a lot
Of hate on this board, personally I'm thrilled about it. It will clear out the loud, non tipping clientele from the restaraunts I frequent, pluckers can only help this, if nothing else it might make one of the 2 go to able for a big sporting event

You might be right. I'd kill for a good sports bar in BR that actually had good food. Not okay food, not a couple of good items, but actually had a good menu and good food. We really don't have one, and pluckers isn't the answer. Kind of sad, but It's a decent option for the middle of the city.

BWW on Bluebonnet has the worst service of any place I've ever visited. Went there twice, had 2 terrible experiences and will never go back for dine in.

Never had a problem with Pluckers, granted it's mostly at 2am and I don't know better.

They do have a pretty lackluster attitude in there. No offense.

I wouldn't say one bad experience is necessarily indicative of anything. My brother and I would plop down on Sunday's and watch football for about eight hours, never once had bad service. Hell, we used to call the managers in the morning and they always made sure the game we wanted to watch was on one of their good televisions. Did this for three years.

I got good service at Pluckers, the waitress was really attentive.

Last time I went to BWW, I paid the check. Looked around to ask my waitress for a refill, saw her out in the parking lot getting into her boyfriend's car to leave

Poor location inside the mall. They need a stand-alone location in that area. People don't want to go to sports bars inside a mall.

it's not inside the mall.. it's on the side of bluebonnet in the mall parking lot. it is a stand alone building.

I honestly don't care that much if they are friendly or not as long as I actually get service. I have yet to go to BWW and get a drink within the first 30 minutes of being there. If you go to BWW, you might as well get comfortable because its gonna be a long ride.
