I’m looking for any recommendations for my wife and I to go eat before a concert. I had reservations at maypop but they cancelled them because of a private event.
Thanks

Maypop sucks anyway. Johnny Sanchez, company burger, Willa Jean, Borgnine. Getting a little further away, Herbsaint, Seaworthy, the place at Ace hotel, Balise, Juan’s.

You must be taking your wife to see Michael Buble... I got the same call. I made reservations at Maypop over a month ago and got the call this week.

Borgne is really close, but we have eaten there before.
We are looking at eating at Marcello's.

Man.. I've been to Copper Vine 3x (went yesterday before a show) and I love the vibe, the food, the drinks.. but I have somehow had dramatically slow service every time. And I'm the last person to give a shite about service.

Borgne is the immediate answer, but Balise or Seaworthy if you plan in advance and are up to walk off the meal a little. You can always take a nap during the Michael Buble concert
