Wife and I are going to New Orleans if LSU makes it, but not planning to get tickets. Doesn't necessarily have to be a sports bar, and I know it will be crazy, but any suggestions? We are open to all price ranges. We are staying at the Higgins on magazine, but will travel anywhere in the city.
Have reservations at Brigsten's Saturday night, commanders palace for jazz brunch Sunday morning, and Peche Sunday night.

Literally anywhere
What type of atmosphere do you like?

I Guess that would be helpful lol. Was hoping to avoid Bourbon, but I guess were pretty open. Obviously enough TV's to be able to get a decent seat, were willing to spend the day there if need be.

If LSU wins in the semi-finals I expect many places/venues will plan for special watch parties. I would wait and just keep an eye out for what pops up. Also, I like your restaurant plan.

As noted, I would probably wait to plan where you go as there will be a lot of special venues and various watch parties.
My go to football watching places
Wrong Iron
Bayou Beer Garden
Tchop Yard
Rusty Nail
I’m sure several of the breweries will have events
Btw, great choices on your restaurants.

If you are cool with staying somewhere all day just keep a lookout for various watch parties. Its hard to say right now.
When we played Ohio St. Someone rented a parking lot and there was an all day tailgate/watch party there. Projection under a tent with a bunch of chairs. Too bad I was throwing up blood but I still had a good time.
Also for big games Lucys would project on the wall across the street. IDK if thats still a thing.

I hadn’t even thought about watch parties, thanks great advice, that’s why I came here!
Also we’d love to go the game but don’t want to spend $3k for tickets.

2011 Lucy’s projected the game across the street.
Wrong iron was crazy on Saturday for SEC championship game. Make sure you get there early to get a table. Some tables were reserved for $200.
Tchoup yard is a great spot with tons of seating and tons of tvs.

The super dome is probably a good one.

This is a good starting point. All of these places will be packed, but honestly - what won't be?
And you picked some good restaurants
