My wife and mom both got the half and half- fried shrimp and catfish

It came with FOUR shrimp and 2 tiny catfish tenders.

Ive never ordered that before, is that the normal size of the dish? 4 damn shrimp?

I don't know what's normal, but I think it sucks.

That sounds about right. Comes with fries, salad, and hushpuppies?

Those fried seafood plates you have to be a fan of the entire thing because the seafood itself isn't much

Shrinkflation is happening everywhere. Restaurants are screwed with pricing right now with price of food and lack of workers

There are certain restaurants where if you get the seafood combo, they give you enough food for 2-3 people.

Yeah, but there are some that half the plate will be fries, toast, and hushpuppies.

This is why we stopped eating out. It costs minimum $100 for my wife, daughter and I to go eat anywhere decent. And decent is becoming hard to find and more expensive.
I'm a fairly decent cook and we prefer to spend that money on eating really well for 3-4 nights on the same $.

No, it does not cost $33 a piece for 2 adults and a child to eat somewhere decent

I tip, and realize you don't automatically take that into consideration. To get a good meal, in a safe area, $25-$30 per plate is not out of the ordinary right now.

I don't disagree, now I've seen youve dropped it from $100 to $75.

There's a Guy Feiri approved Thai place right by me that's $10. It's awesome, and not expensive, this guy probably frequents Outback and Chili's because it's "safe"

I understand you have challenges, BUT, do you not understand that a $75 meal + tip = actual cost of meal ?
Would you like to get technical? How about Biden's $5/gallon gas to get there or the outrageous costs of insurance/mile.

Call it what you want but I'm not bringing my wife and daughter out in BR or NOLA. Not worth the time, money, effort or risk taken. IMO, of course

You don't read good either. Did you not see where I said we've stopped eating out or are you just wanting to troll for the sake of trolling?
