Looks like they are finishing up the new location on Tulane. Has anyone heard of an official open date?

Bad time for them, the traffic on Tulane is going to be a nightmare. I know Pauline was worried about Treo.
I hope people still go to Tulane during construction, I know I will try and make PTB the first week it's open.

If they would open on the weekend they would have my business even with construction.

samsies. I crave heir Vietnamese stew when it gets colder. Though Pho Orchid makes a great stew too.

I think that's what I get. That is the red beef stew. It's so good on a cold day.

Does anyone know the Vietnamese name of the fired egg noodle dish that looks like a birds next with seafood and meats on top of it? At Than Truc it was the X1 and no one else has it. This was my favorite vietnamese dish ever.

This....

I like PTB but this city has way too many good Viet places for me to even want to try to deal with Tulane. I'm sure they will do fine, though.

At Pho Orchid I believe it is Cripsy Egg noodle- Orchid Combination (Mi Xao Mem Hoac Don)

They serve that at PTB.

I don't remember the name of it though.

Maybe I will just print out the picture. Than Truc never had the Vietnamese names on the menu. They called Pho "broth soup" and Bun "Vermicelli pasta with meat"
