I think this is a really good idea for that location. I loved the patio at Earls. Couldn't stand the inside of the place, especially when they had live music. I couldn't hear myself think. For the life of me I can not understand why the previous owners thought it would be a good idea to build a giant fence enclosing that patio.

There is only one decent place for people age 25-32 to get drinks in BR. Hope this works out.

I disagree. There are several: Olive or Twist, Overpass Merchant, Happys all come to mind instantly.

I also enjoyed Blend the other night. It was the busiest I've ever seen it besides our group.

Good luck. I think its gonna be a tough one to be successful there.

Among the changes coming to the establishment, located in a strip center next to Juban’s, will be an updated outdoor patio, a larger indoor stage for live bands on weekends, and a VIP section for patrons who want to enjoy themselves in a more private environment or for private events. The bar will also be expanding its drink menu to include more upscale cocktails, wines, daiquiris and margaritas.

I guess thats what I would do. The place has a decent setup. It just needs to be nicer

I'd say I typically always enjoy

Olive or Twist
Overpass Merchant
Radio Bar
Hayride Scandal
Bin 77
Bulldog

After that the crowd can be hit or miss depending on the day or time I go.

Same here, I said Earl’s was having money issues months ago and the OT and you would have thought I stomped on a kitten. Glad they are at least trying something else there since Earls is a shithole now

Since having kids I haven’t stepped foot in earles in 3 years. Loved going to earles on my walk home after the overpass from hh till
12. I would make my hike towards home stopping off in earles for two more drinks.

I’m all for a older person, laid back neighborhood bar.

Sounds like the people on next door will
Be happy. They won’t post every weekend about the noise coming from earles.

Money issues though... I don’t buy that. I know I had a friend call out the owner for sexually assualting his gf while checking IDs. Maybe it resolves around that? He went on FB rant about it and wanted to sue him
