That crazy rotisserie they have is cool. We go for brunch since they pour mimosas no stop, and that little jazz band makes us smile.

I love jazz bands on Sundays for brunch/lunch. Ate at Arnaud's for Easter Sunday lunch and it was very festive.

This is good news for a very old, and once very proud and good restaurant in the Quarter. Andre Apuzzo was the exec there years ago when it was at its' best.

I ate at Upperline, recently. New chef is the old chef at the Rib Room. It was very good, but some of what I had were the usual dishes created by the old Upperline chef. There were specials, though, and one of my companions had a special and really enjoyed it.

Gris I have very recently become the chef in residence at a home in SBR, the lady of the house is elderly, and her two adult sons don't know squat bout cooking at all. It is turning into a nice little gig as it also allows me to make a bit of money on the side, and next week I will add a garden to the big assed yard( I know late start).

CIT, that's cool. What kind of meals are you preparing? Does the lady of the house have dietary restrictions or are you able to play around a bit?

What do these things have to do with each other?

Tigertown in ATL got a little excited over the banana daiquiri thread. You'll have to excuse him.

Prayer didn't help CC, but I thought there might be chance of saving you, early on.

So, since you brought it up, your penance is changed to starting a thread on the Help Board requesting Otis's return from bannage and proclaiming him the valuable food board poster that he is. He needs all the help he can get, apparently.

He's banned again? What did he do now? Apparently I need to visit more often.

He defended NE LA with a vengeance while on the hooch. Thread was really quite entertaining. The ban has been too long, but it was his second hit after the first time he got the chicken bone stuck in his throat while on the hooch.

Go to the help thread and request his return.

uh,, gg,,, he was on the wine, up in the bleachers at a football game... holding that bottle with his feet, kinda what you'd expect a Koala bear to look like... But, it's all just a bad memory now...
