The Grand Marlin, which is relatively new (less than 2 years I believe), is a great high end restaurant with a nice bar. It is located at the foot of the bridge on the left as you get to the island from Gulf Breeze.

Hemingway's is also pretty nice. Good food and a decent bar.

More casual yet still good is Peg Leg Pete's.

I usually hit McGuires or the Italian joint next door. Although the Italian joint looked kind of closed the other day..

Peg Legs is always good, Crabs isn't bad, actually really good crab leg platters there. I know u r at the beach, but Sideline's is a sports bar right by Hampton & Hilton, one of the best burgers I've eaten.

I think McGuires is great too, but I think he's asking about places in Pensacola Beach. If we are talking Pensacola proper, I'd highly recommend Global Grill.

+1 for the Grand Marlin. It is excellent and the service/atmosphere cannot be beat. Hemingway's has a good atmosphere but the food is so so. It kind of has "chain" quality to it.

Marlin grill and hemingways. Pegleg Pete's is good too. Restaurant at Hilton is ok. Flounders and crabs, not so much.

Paradise, from here and living here again, its the best place on the beach with the best atmosphere. Also Native Cafe great spot.

Bars - Islander, Paddys, Paradise, Shaker, everything else isn't worth your time

Peg Leg Pete's for some fresh shucked oysters or seafood. Flounders is owned by same people as McGuires. Fun place to drink. Be careful with the Diesel Fuels. Landshark Landing next to the Margaritaville Hotels is a cool bar on the beach. You could spend all afternoon at this place, right on the gulf.

Boondock - stop by Paddys (real irish bar) down by Islander and Subway, you won't be disapointed. You can join the car-bomb cub, give you something to shoot for while your in town.

Flounders never go, only to get a Disel Fuel - Telling yall Paradise Bar and Grill is the best place on the beach. It's where all us locals go, live music every night on the water, good food, cheap drinks.

And if your looking for Real Estate on Penscola Beach, I'm your man. Ha Have fun Ya'll
