Just found out that we're eating here for lunch next Monday. Any must try dishes or recommendations? Looks pretty good.

You're going to get a few "Nothing" suggestions.

However:

The chicken and sausage gumbo is VERY good, actually. Do not get the seafood gumbo.

Should be a lot of fun there on Monday. I'm a fan of their turtle soup and the andouille crusted fish.

Just trolled their website and they have a "BCS Menu" from th 6th through the 9th. It has most of their offerings on it, but looks to be a little scaled back to handle the crowds.

A couple of things on the lunch menu looked pretty good. Do any of their lunch entrees stand out? Keep in mind we're going for lunch the day of the game so I think the place was chosen by my N.O. area relatives with gameday food and convenience in mind.

P.S. I hate that about the seafood gumbo as I prefer it to chicken and sausage gumbo.

But a go to place when everything else in town
is booked up. Never had a problem getting a table here.
