I’ve always done with the shells on. But I have a bunch of shrimp peeled already. Any way to create this.

Fresh heads on shrimp are a necessary component because the fat adds to the flavor. But just make do with what you have and cook the shrimp for a short time.

Just saute' in them in a skillet with a bunch of butter and the seasonings that you would normally use.

Not really. The shell and heads add to the flavor of the sauce.

I'd recommend just making a really good sauce and then sautéing the shrimp in the sauce. Won't be the same but will still be good and easier to eat.

Personally I'd serve over pasta.

And lots of garlic.

It's funny you should say this.... I was just thinking about my disaster of a thread a few years ago on this exact topic. Mine looked terrible and tasted delicious.

You can bake them in butter, lemon, and a bit of garlic, with whatever other seasoning you like, and get sort of a scampi type dish. It's not really "bbq shrimp" at all, but it's good. I wouldn't try to replicate bbq shrimp.

I'd try something like this: LINK

Will it be as flavorful as normal BBQ shrimp? No, will it be good, yes.

Cook as you would normally and enjoy not having to peel.
