True, my review and experience are largely based off expectations. It's in a referbished Popeyes next to a florist, in Harahan,LA.

They need work, the crust was undercooked(as I stated) but the ingredients are high quality. That was all I wanted to judge today.

Amici on "magazine St." doesn't use ingredients of this quality. That is why I hope they make it, and can't stand crap like Amici.

You're so full of shite. How much more did you really expect out of Barcadia brunch?

The food I posted looks just as good as what you ate, yet you shite all over something I posted.

Just admit it. If I posted the pics you did, you would have a million complaints about them.

Why do so many places undercook the pizza? Either increase the oven temp or figure out how to get some honest char going.

But I hope it makes it--Harahan is practically a good-food desert.

Lets see if you can get this.

The place I went is in Harahan, LA. While KA is across the street, good pizza/Italian places are not easily found.

Barcadia, where you went is in the WHD in New Orleans, LA. Good food is found around nearly every corner, yet you found(and took pictures) of a mediocre place.

So, availability matters in food judgement.

Solid deflection.

ETA: And since availability matters, how about you list me all the places in the WHD that can give me brunch under $15 per person including tax and tip that are soo much better?

It's not even on the same level. It's would be like comparing Ancora to Italian Pie

Yes had a fantasy football draft there this past year.

The pizza dough at Oak Oven is very good. One of the best I've had.

It's gotten better(i thought it sucked for a while)

The pizza has become really good at Happy. Can't speak for much else. It looks better than what OBrah has posted. Certainly heartier

Did you erase this in the other thread? Or did you derail both?

Might have to give them another shot. All the new places have spoiled me to the point I can't enjoy regular arse pizza anymore. :pizzasnob:

Good enough. I wasn't attacking it, as I've never been.

They've been open for months. Oak Cafe was a Popeye's in November.
