Northshore Breakfast Recommendations (Grab and Go Style)

My office just relocated to Covington off Hwy 21. I'm commuting from Albany every morning. Any recommendations along that route or in the area of my office for quick, grab and go style breakfast? I'm talking about diner on the side of a gas station, or a place with a drive thru, or something I can be in and out in 5 minutes. Not looking for sit down restaurants. Preferable open by 6AM.

On Hwy 21 north of I-12 there is a Cafe du Monde, PJ's and Starbucks. Grab a coffee and quick breakfast from the drive thru.

another option is the Fat Spoon Cafe...north side of 21 about 3/4 mile

There's a Chick-fil-a on the HWY 21 exit as well just off the interstate to the South.
They open @ 6 AM as well.

A little out of the way if you're coming from the interstate - but Acquistapace's has pretty good grab and go biscuit sandwiches. Plus - if you have the time, you can go check out their alcohol selection. Many mornings I'd check out with nothing but a breakfast sandwich and a bottle/six pack/etc.

Do you end up with an empty wrapper and four pack by the time you hit Metarie?

I've stumbled upon the alcohol selection at that store already and it's impressive.
Thanks for all the other recommendations!

I am not a fan of their breakfast, per se. They have introduced kolaches over the last month or so that are pretty good. They are not a Racetrack kolache, but will do in pinch.
There is no telling how much money this store rakes in off the hot box alone.

Probably out of your way, but Butter Krisp on 190 has a good breakfast. Fan of their breakfast sandwich and blueberry donuts (Friday and Saturday only). Make sure you have restroom usage at your next stop, though.

Go check out their wine/spirits/beer, cheese and meats ONLY market in Mandeville one day! If you think the selection at the Covington location is impressive, you'll love the Mandeville location!
