Currently have a set of calphalon stainless and it is terrible. Everything sticks to it. Maybe my novice cooking skills are the problem but I’m looking for a quality set of non stick cookware. Recommendations?

I've had good results with Tramontina. Under $30 and replace when they stop performing like you want.

There is no need to spend a lot on non-stick skillets imo.

Sam’s Members Mark nonstick pans. The largest pan is like $20 and they are excellent. Treat them w care and they will last a long time.

You’re not getting it hot enough. I do the same thing. Stainless is only nonstick when hot enough.

I've started piecing together a set of Made-In non-stick and it's been fantastic quality and performance.

This is a fact. It needs to be close to 300F before you add food. Veggies are more forgiving.

I have no idea why these posts are getting DVs because it is indeed correct. Always preheat a SS pan a couple of minutes on medium heat.

For non-stick if you want quality and made in the US get either All-Clad or Made In. It is harder to justify quality US non-stick pans just because they are not a lifetime purchase. However, if used properly they will last many years.
