I've always found the non-seafood dishes to be the weak link of Galatoire's.

I agree...all my "usual" dishes involve seafood.

So, you eat the seafood, and they can eat the non-seafood. It's a win-win proposition as far as food goes, and don't they deserve the Galatoire's experience?

Why not Couchon, Tujague's is always forgoten but has great roast beef. What about La Provence on the north shore? Delmonico is a good mixture of steakhouse and creole too.

Thats a good one actually...I did just go with the GF Sunday though. I like Vincent's...the Metairie one has no atmosphere though.

I know it sounds crazy but Galatoires has the best fried chicken, so take some kid,order him/her the FC and enjoy:)
