I didn't say she is a terrible cook. I'm just saying she isn't good enough to be talking shite. I'm sure I'd eat her desserts and enjoy them. However, I'm not going to eat at a restaurant because they have a good pastry chef. And, I'm definitely not going to eat at a restaurant that is putting out main dishes like the ones that she has made on this show. Halibut and roast veggies, pasta and tuna? Cmon man.

Hit up toups meatery for lunch today, Isaac was walking around and menu planning at another table, only had 3 tables at high noon.
Food was good, would def like to go back for dinner when I had more time and try the charcuterie and some of the small plates.

I didn't think Jeremy would be in the final three. I'm happy that Isaac and Marjorie are in. Despite questioning her comments about Isaac in one episode, I've enjoyed her over the course of the season.

Isaac had a good run. Creative dish, but he's just not as skilled and creative as the other two. It's not his style.
He's still in the running for the cash prize for fan favorite. Hope he wins.

At this point, I'm pulling for Amar.
Isaac has a lot to be proud of. I bet we see him on TV many more times. Top Chef likes to bring back former cheftestants as judges, and other food shows use them as well. I hope he wins fan favorite and does well for himself in every way.

He did really well to make it that far. His place is really good and the next any of you out of towners get here I suggest trying it.

He could be a successful food related TV personality. So likeable. I hope he wins fan favorite, as well. I think he deserves it. His cooking just isn't fru fru Top Chef style and because of that, it was a real win for him to get as far as he did. Kudos to him. I think he was clearly the underdog throughout.

It isn't about being fru fru, it's about being well rounded and technically proficient. He is a great chef, obviously, he just isn't at the top of the field.

I agree on all point. Isaac doesn't fit the mold of Top Chef, but performed admirably throughout. He always came across as an outsider, but managed to execute his style with proficiency. His personality jumped off the screen and I wonder if he gets offers to do other tv spots.
Very proud of Chef Toups! I'll be swinging through soon to congratulate him.

Hit it up for lunch a couple weeks ago, dinner menu looked great. He was walking around in there doing a purveyor order.
Was rooting for him all season, but hoping Amar takes it home, he's such a likable guy. Wouldn't be mad if Jeremy won either though

By fru fru, I meant technically talented and skilled in a Top Chef style. I didn't describe it "chef" talk.

Yeah, it sounded like the financier was the deciding factor. I didn't care who won. Once Isaac was gone, my interest declined with the exception of fan favorite for 10 grand which Isaac won.
