For many years I have not been a fan of these burgers. I don't like building my own. You know, that old thing about foods made by others seem to taste better than what you make for yourself.

There was a time in the past, where their patties tasted like sausage because of all the seasoning in them. To his credit, one of the owners came on this board and apologized for that debacle, saying it was one of the biggest mistakes they made.

Anyway, I am having a lot of trouble getting around lately, even just getting in and out of my car without pain, so I've become a fan of restaurants with a drive through.

Although it could not be confused with fast food, I have had some of the best burgers ever for me by going through the drive up window. All of this has been from the Clearview location.

Their chili burger was one of my favorite burgers locally - can't believe they got rid of chili. How does a place selling chili for over 30 years stop selling chili?

I tried their turtle soup a few months back. Not bad at all.

I've had it and it's not bad, but not like the GOAT, Commander's Palace, or other Brennan's restaurants.

No, Tom pretty much lost me as a listener with the move to HD.

The Houma location is solid, never had a bad meal there. I mostly get the roast beef which is pretty damn good.

Sorry to hear that your having trouble getting around Rat, all the best to you.

I've always been a big fan of their catfish, onion rings, and muffalletas, so I've never tried the burgers. I'll have to give them a shot.

I've always loved everything about this place.

Everything is great.

Best hung over hamburger of all time.

I would kill for one in BR.

This may be a terrible question but I thought Tom comes on from like 3-7 Mon-Fri on 105.3 but whenever I turn it on during that time it is Deuce.

He's on 105.3 FM but he's on the HD2 channel there. You have to have a special HD radio to pick it up.

Ok so then I 100% do not have any of that. That's a shame. Really wanted to listen to him even if it was just on the weekend.
