Where is here? Baton Rouge? I graduated from LSU last December, and yeah, I've been to just about every TexMex place that BR had to offer.

I will be here tonight, toworrow night, Sunday , Monday, and Tuesday morning. I would love to meet you in person. Call me and we'll discuss your issues and concerns , I look foward to your call .

Thought it was a nice surprise. FWIW I didn't tip him off

Making himself accessible like that is just another reason why I've always enjoyed Ninfa's. I wish more restaurant managers would post on TD in response to threads.

haven't eaten there in 5+ years, but taking a personal interest in the product certainly seems like a good sign.

MUCH, MUCH more honorable than how Folse's cronies handled conversations about their products.

I've honestly been doing either the taqueria, Honduran or Colombian thing for so long that I haven't been hitting up Tex-Mex spots in a while.

That's why I at least conceded that I hadn't been there recently, at least not since they've apparently changed the decor.

That snide comment just bought you a certified letter, my friend

its sad, espec b/v ninfas 5-6-7-8 yrs ago was great.
The last time I was there was about a yr ago and the OP couldnt have nailed my experience any more similar.

If you want mexican in BR just go to superior grill.

You should leave the responses to your boss. The type of unfounded assumptions you make, only serve to further turn off customers/potential customers and sort of go to reinforce the offputting situation I encountered there the other night.

As for Hernando, I do sincerely appreciate your response. I'm not looking for any sort of recompense, and hope that my post was very clear that I have no axe to grind over your place. It's not a place I dine frequently. I don't live in BR. It's just that it's a place in which I has always had a good experience, and I found virtually everything there the other night 180 degrees off of what I had previously come to expect.

Hopefully, you'll just accept it as constructive criticism. And keep an eye on your workers who are quick to chide customers for offering it.

Doesn't seem to be working based on what customers are saying.

I thought the job was to please the customer.

I am afraid that you may be in the wrong line of work.
