Will be in the city next weekend for dinner and visit with some friends. How are things? Can you go to places that serve food and drink like a bar setting? Just trying to find some good spots for after dinner drinks. Don’t want to call it a night super early or after dinner.

In the Quarter, but away from the Bourbon Street crowds, Cane and Table is always a good stop.

My favorite place to hang is Tiki Tolteca, and they just announced they'll start opening on Fridays and Saturdays only.

Never been there. Looks chill. Will def look into it.

Someone had mentioned to me a curfew at 11:00pm? Facts or nah?

It's a quiet place on the second floor above another restaurant. You'll need to walk through Felipe’s Taqueria to get to the elevator that brings you up to the bar.

Some bars have special permits to serve food and therefore can be open. Think 11pm is last call. Most places are starting to open, recommended spots depends on where you’re eating dinner at.

You can make a res to a few bars that serve food for night caps after dinner. Bachanal, Delachaise, Bouligny, Columns Hotel and Longway Tavern to name a few.

Stay off Bourbon. It’s currently a pure shite hole.

I love that you've done none of your own research here...

Just looked into that. I have been wanting to do something like this in NOLA for awhile now. Unfortunately I dont think the crowd we're going with will get the full experience.

Definitely saving this one though and will go with the right crew

Cane and Table is definitely open with a patio that should be fantastic with this weather.

Tchoup Yard is blowing and going.

Wrong Iron somehow stays open past 11pm...
