Joey K’s on Magazine Street has lots of options for a variety of tastebuds. It’s not overly expensive either for the quality of food you get. I sent someone there from out of state last week for lunch and he and his family really enjoyed it.

Beggars Banquet. Not even a close option mentioned yet.

Sneaky Pickle and Alma Cafe should be on your list.

I’ll add Carmo to the list. Short walk to the WWII museum too.

I know I should support Saba as that's where the founder moved after the problems at Shaya. But for some reason I like the food better at Shaya.

I would say the same thing but the added the lamb ragu hummus to the menu at Saba which is absolutely the best thing at either place. Saba is a nicer
location. that’s a great building right by Audubon Park

Just got back into town.

Saba was as advertised, and I was the hero of the weekend for taking a group of 6 there. Fantastic food and atmosphere.

Molly’s rise and shine for breakfast one morning. The grits, greens and poached eggs with salsa Macha was incredible.

Stopped in at St James cheese shop and Creole Creamery one afternoon.

Also at Bouligny tavern because we had a large group meeting up first night. Fun place. Food was fine.

Reception was at the Chloe. Food was solid. Vibes impeccable. Raw fresh shucked oysters was my favorite. A lot of people not eating them, so I ate a lot. Had been harvested the day before and the guy who harvested them was there doing the shucking and serving.
