That’s merely your opinion. I have been to Javier’s, Uncle Julio’s and Chuy’s. They’re all good. Abuelo’s isn’t subpar.

Balls, go to Mesero in Clearfork.

And, if it's hotter in Louisiana than it is here right now, yall need to burn that MFer down. It's broiler oven hot in the Fort at the moment.

Mi Concina has a ton of locations around DFW. It’s fine, but do something local.

I have lived in FTW all my life. I don't get the hype over Joe T's. It is good for people watching, but there is much better mexican food in FTW. We always say that Joe T's is for tourists but you either love it or hate it.

If you get another chance, check out Molcejetes in La Gran Plaza. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. MS-13 might kill you (there was a table of hard looking dudes with face tattoos when I ate there) but it’ll be a quality last meal.

Los Asaderos in north side is authentic Mexican food. It’s been serving quality food for many years.

+1 for gutsy Pancho's recommendation. That name brings back circa 1979 experiences in Hurst, TX.

Not where would go by the way.

Not Mexican but my favorite restaurant in Ft. Worth is the Lonesome Dove by the Stockyards.

It's near Asederos and old school tex mex and mex mex. It's larger than Asederos but has the same bare bones basic tables and atmosphere. Went with 4 other people and everyone liked what they had.

I wish I would have known that. The first night we went to the Stockyards and let the kids pick dinner. They chose Cattlemen’s. It was terrible.
