Commanders is great

Clancy’s is my favorite

Cafe Du Monde - but there’s also a Morning Call on Canal Blvd by the cemeteries - so if you took the canal streetcar towards the lake, it’s at the end of the line

Parkway Bakery for poboys

Liuzza’s in MidCity used to be one of my favorite places but they’re under new ownership and haven’t been

Cochon Butcher is good too

Commanders is obvious, but any others I should consider?: Antoine's.

Honestly, I found the food at Antoine's to be pretty sub-par.

Give Clancy's a look instead.

"New Orleeeeens! That's our town! We go all the time. Don't you dare go to New Orleens without us."

Carrie called it Nawlins earlier in the episode.

For smaller/not as fancy places, when we were there in 2018 we really liked Creole House (Canal @ Decatur) and Gumbo Shop (St Peter between Royal and Chartres) for gumbo and etouffee.

We had really good po boys, and a great view of the action around Jackson Square at Stanley (corner of Chartres and St Ann).

CDM is a must for beignets, just to say you got them from there. But we also liked the ones from Cafe Beignet in the Jax Brewery shops on Decatur.
