Nashville spots - Jack Browns and Emmy Squared

Any reviews/recs on those two spots? I’ve read several other Nashville threads and these are the only two on our list for lunches that I didn’t see mentioned. Thanks

There's a Jack Brown's in Bham. It's decent. It's more of a beer bar that happens to serve burgers than a burger place that serves beer. Burgers aren't bad though.
I'm assuming the Nashville one is the same model.

Never been to Emmy Squared, but I've been to Jack Browns. The burger was decent. Nothing special. A large beer list, but 95% of it is in bottles/cans. They only had a few beers on tap, though I'll say those few on tap were pretty awesome selections.

Yea it is the same. Burgers are solid. They are a little small but definitely tasty. I always get a double. Probably overpriced for what you're getting, but I'm never disappointed eating there.
Beer selection is always solid. I'd agree as you said, beer bar that happens to serve burgers.
Fried oreos are awesome though.

Jack Browns is really good. We have the original in Virginia where I live. Owner is a good guy

Jack Browns here in Murfreesboro too. I have never seen the hype. You can’t get what you want on the burger (he menus states they don’t serve lettuce or tomato). They have some odd combinations and their burgers are small for the price.

If you’re close to Jack Browns in Nashville then you’re really close to Bearded Iris Brewery, which IMO is the best in the city.
You could find many a worse ways to waste a Saturday afternoon than 2-3 pints at Bearded Iris and a burger at Jack Browns.
