Anyone know what's going in it's place? Drove by for the first time since it closed and saw it's pretty much going under a complete remodel.

That is the worst place to eat in the Elmwood/Harahan area. Food and service are terrible. I'd rather eat McDonald's.

If history is any guide, it will be a middle of the road local or national chain restaurant.

For sure. But I would be lying if I said I didn't use it as a stop-gap once or twice to have a marg and watch a game while the Mrs was spending too much time in the shopping center.

Was cautiously optimistic when it closed and am hoping for the best. The food options in that shopping center have been steadily improving over the last 5 years or so.

Nacho Mamas in Elmwood had a good hamburger and shrimp-filled Chili Relleno. Everything else was meh. That's all I got.

Damn, completely forgot I made this thread. Yeah I still hadn't heard anything.

A little disappointing. Wanted something a little more unique I guess. Thanks for sharing.
