I've noticed an ugly granite trend among f&d boarders

I was told my granite was ugly. It makes me cry every time I walk in my kitchen.

Yes, I have a shitty kitchen. Hope I can compete well in spite of it.

Ditto.

No excuses though.

ETA: Thinking we should have a pic of all ingredients pre-cook?

Wrong thread.

Haha. Your counters are nasty, the grout is darker than Grambling's band. It's all stained up with with spilt PBRs and High fructose corn syrups.

No PB&J glued to the countertops?

I grew up in a kitchen with butcher block, have fun keeping them oiled. Meanwhile I will stay with the ugly granite.

Gumbo looked aight to me other than than hydrogenated/trans-fatted lard which the FDA recently banned. I like the sausage slices quartered and thinner and brown the shite out of them and the chicken. I would not turn down free gumbo.

Need pics for sure! Our island is slate but I kinda want to change it to marble. Concrete could be an option, but I have not looked into it at all.

Looks good but I'd brown the chicken a little more.

Also, where's the rice?
