Word on the street is that there will be a Mugshots in BR soon. No official link, just a good source. Decent burgers and drinks, live entertainment some nights

That would be interesting. They have some pretty good food.

When describing their gourmet burgers, I love the oxymoron:

"...a full half pound of choice ground round..."

What exactly is a full half pound? What if I just wanted a quarter pound burger? Would I order a half half pound burger or would it be a full quarter pound?

I really wish they didn't insist on burning the shite out of their burgers because the bun is pretty good. Can't get less than medium-well though (and it's actually very well done).

It only has four locations (I think), so quality control shouldn't be an issue. Like I said, good bun, they just insist on overcooking them.

i wouldn't call this a chain necessarily.... the one here is gulfport is pretty tasty. The bun is great, and i ask for them to be a little easy on the cooking and generally they obide... The good thing is that even though they are usually well done, it is definitely quality meat because they are still juicy and pretty good. This one has a pretty decent tap lineup too... I would assume that in B.R. that the beer selection would be much better because of MS. ancient beer laws that don't allow anything worth a shite for the most part.

Did you not read the thread title and first post?

They will cook it how you want it, you just need to ask them. And I would consider it a chain now because they are selling franchise rights to people interested in opening one in their area. Supposedly someone from Canada is franchising one there, and Hammond might be getting a Mugshots soon also.

Mugshots will be open in 29 days at Towne Center Shopping area in the old Champps Restaurant. I'm not too familiar with BR, will this be a good spot?

Competitive with Zea's, PF Chang, Carrabas, Bone-fish and Flemming's all within a stone's throw away.

Across the street from Five Guys.

It's a good spot. Chammps failed because it sucked major arse. Food and management was terrible.

Perhaps some locations will, I've never had any luck doing this in four trips to the Tuscaloosa location.
