I would also say Nino's is underrated... very nice little Italian place but I hardly ever see it mentioned. Went with the gf a few months ago and we really enjoyed the whole meal.

Mike Willies on Cloverland doesn't get mentioned much, and they have some tasty food.

Little Village on Airline has the best spaghetti sauce in the world IMO. Although, it's very difficult dealing with all the, stupid, arrogant & pissy arse attitude people who run the place and work there.

Anthony's is great. Just in a terrible location.

Nino's is legit as well.

Is La Tienda still on Siegen? If so - there's your answer.

Hard to say that any place is underrated or overrated in terms of this board. I can't think of a place that hasn't been discussed at length.

Forgot about Mike Willie's. Went there last year during crawfish season and really enjoyed it.

Louisiana Lagniappe is one of the most popular, widely-hyped places in the entire city. How that can be considered 'underrated' is beyond me.

What about Beausoleil? Don't see it mentioned too much on here. I have not been to Baton Rouge in over two years, so I'm not the right person for this thread, but I'm planning a trip down in April and looking for suggestions.

Bay Leaf for most of BR seems to be unknown.
