To our valued customers:
After five and a half years, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors at the end of this week. Our last day of business will be Sunday, July 4th. We want to thank y’all for your support since 2015. Y’all come out this week and see us one last time.
We will continue serving up the same great BBQ in Metairie at 1101 N. Causeway Blvd. Follow us on Instagram @moesbbqcauseway and Facebook @ Moe’s Original Bar B Que - Metairie.
Thanks for an unforgettable 5.5 years.

When we went, they didn't have any BBQ sauce in sight. No thank you.

They should bring back Billabong in that location.

Or Bud’s.

Joe had intentions of reopening, but the insurance after the storm was too much for him to deal with. Among other issues he was having. Then he died, so no chance of it coming back.

They used to do a pad thai burrito that I loved.

Yes they did.

They kept the bottles in a warming container on the counter under an enormous sign that read "BBQ Sauce Here."

Or, you know, you could have asked.

BBQ sauce is for covering up a bad cook. Well-smoked meat shouldn’t need sauce.

RIP Moe's Uptown. Will definitely be hitting the Causeway location.

Loved their wings and smoked turkey. Also, this may be an unpopular option, but their brisket is better than Blue Oak (ducking for cover).
