Best dinner spots:

Bel air (casual)
Old German beer hall for late night pork chops / currywurst, brats
Best drink spots:
Bryant's cocktail lounge
Blu at the pfister
Finks (pair with bel air)
Brady St in general

If you want to experience old Milwaukee and its German heritage, check out Karl Ratzsch or Mader's. If you're looking for an upscale meal from a Chef that I know and would recommend, Sanford if you can get in.
This recent thread here might help... LINK
As far as drinking, I personally would be at Landmark Lanes shooting pool, steel tip darts, midnight bowling, or just shooting pinball. Was my old hangout.

I was in Milwaukee on business in January and I can re-iterate the Mader's recommendation. Great authentic German cuisine with a really unique feel.
Also, drink about 1,000 Spotted Cows.

Any great lunch recommendations? Land in Milwaukee and will only be there for a few hours around lunch time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Any word of Calderone's for lunch?
I'm keeping an eye on this thread. I'm likely loading up at Comet's on Sunday before my flight home.
What's some good places to drink around the Doubletree? I like dive bars that have a stench. Please don't recommend any clubs.
eta...does 3rd become bad like bourbon after 10? Buddy from there told me something along those lines.
