One of the worst meals of my life. Its not about "getting" fondue, its about "getting" "shitty food."

i thought the chocolate was good

the rest of it probably wasn't worth the money and would have been better spent at a steakhouse

I worked there several years back. The food is ok and I got to eat for really cheap. it's more about the experience than the food in essence.

It is pricey but hey, you'll be eating there for at least 2 hours, so it's a nice time to relax and bullshite. I haven't really been back but once since I quit about 5 or 6 years ago, so that should tell you a little something.

If Baton Rouge is your only option i'd probably say it's in the top 10, if not then top 15.

Dude you need to chill out. You obviously are making yourself look really stupid. Go ahead and name me 15 better restaurants.

I don't need to list where I eat to justify myself, but sorry dude, if we're talking Baton Rouge, it's up there.

I will agree with that, which is why I don't eat there anymore. it was great to get a meal there for 7 bucks. It spoils ya.

But like I said, it's BATON ROUGE we're talking, not New Orleans. We unfortunately do not have an over flow of really nice expensive restaurants like they do.

No order:
Mansur's
La. Laginappe
Ruffino's
Bistro Byronz
Maison Lacour
Little Village
Gino's
Juban's
Stroube's Chophouse
Brandt's Maisonette
Bay Leaf
Capital City Grill
Pinetta's
French Market Bistro
Monjuni's

Just a sample of 15 that I would eat at before going to pay $100 for boiled meat

If you frequently take your steak and boil it in water, I guess it's good to you.

But I sure as hell don't boil steak.

Good list. I forgot a few of those. I would throw in:

every pita house, the taquerias, all of the soul food places, pimanyolas and even Dingos snack bar.

you left a few off the list that i would have added, but as you can see it's not hard to name several restaurants better than melting pot
