Anybody order one of these when first introduced on kickstarter like 2-3 years ago. 
Still haven't shipped yet but supposed to start sending them out next month I think. Excited to get my hands on one assuming they work as advertised. Think they brought in $2-$3M in funding from people pre-ordering.

Kickstarter for an all in one meat + oven/grill probe, no wires, just bluetooth to your phone. I backed in September of last year.
I've got one ordered but not holding my breath on how well it will work -- range can't be great going through a grill to the house, battery has to be tiny to fit in just the probe and the whole thing is exposed to pretty high temps. We'll see.
Lavatools has something similar, but way less elegant (and probably more realistic)

So if I'm reading correck... the probe itself is Bluetooth with limited range but you can link the block to your wifi and get probe data on phone from anywhere...
4 of them seems a bit much but I want Dat block

That's how I understood it after reading their site and app.
I will be ordering the block very soon.

That looks awesome. I really like that it has an ambient temp gauge too. But I'm skeptical it can actually last long with high heat. I'll wait for more user reviews

Looks like 4pk and block will be $200 when released... did some thinking, and for a little bit more, you can buy a DigiQ system... I think these gizmos are about $50 overpriced. Just my .02

Bump. I ordered one and still have not received it. This is getting goddamn ridiculous. Has anyone gotten theirs? Between this and a couple other purchases, I'm never ordering anything off Kickstarter again.
