I haven’t eaten there myself, but I follow them on FB and it looks like Vines has a pretty good plate lunch.

The original Vines is probably 35 miles from I55. There is a new one that’s open in Mccomb on Hwy 98 East. Get off the interstate and go East for a mile or so. It’s very good for plate lunches and BBQ. If you don’t want that Tortilla Soup is good. It’s at the next exit.
FYI...masks are required when going into businesses in Mccomb.

Bromas Deli right inside the Mall. Opposite side of Lowes, which you will see from the interstate.

Is the Dinner Bell still open? Haven't been there since the late 70s.

It’s still open. I haven’t been in quite awhile either. Not sure how the lazy Susan concept works with social distancing.

stopped in at vines last week, i was not eating just there to buy meats etc...but they had a buffet set up where they served you, looked very good, not sure on the how they charged you

the meat section was great, prime and choice ribeyes, etc, lots of sausages ...place has only been open a few months if that but is being run very well....i see them doing great

I got a few fillets and some hamburgers, cooked them this weekend and they were top notch

The Dinner Bell

I take it it is still open..I hadn't been there in about 30 years.. What does it cost now? There was always a dumbass that would turn the lazy susan when someone was still serving themselves.

Edit: Looked it on tripadvisor.com... The price is $14.99 (AYCE)..That was 2019 so I doubt the price has gone up...

When the Dinner Bell is open it’s the best lunch in town. Recently he was like others having issues getting his staff to come back to work.
Vines has good plate lunches also.
