See that irks me there too, Bill's Black Label is another famous BBQ sauce.
They already ripped off Smoking Buddha Barbecue(a catering company) and called their unrelated restaurant "Smoking Buddha Bar B Quiex" to get past the Secretary of State when making the LLC.
Then he is going to name the new company "Black Label", and I know them and it has to do with "Black Label Society" and their love of metal and Pantera and Zak Wyld and stuff. But damn, dude needs to run google searches before he picks a name, or they will keep having problems.
I can't find them by searching, what is the twitter handle?
One guys name is Rich, and the other Eric, I think.

"BooKoo BBQ uses a Microwave"
and then said something like "Squeal don't know straight up BBQ"

What's funny is one guy at Smoking Buddha would trash talk places like McClure's or BooKoo then the other guy would ask "How do y'all get in Gambit, how do you get a TV spot?"
Pretty sad for Smoking Buddha to have five stars on Yelp, 93% on UrbanSpoon, and still not last a month.
The guy at Squeal was telling me how they were trash talkers and how none of the BBQ community saw each other as true competitors. Actually the Owner of Squeal told me he thought BooKoo has the best burger in town. I just think its shitty for a guy to set up shop in Metry and then take shots at people in NOLA, who are actually making things work, Smoking Buddha was a flash in the pan.

Naw, Lee (at BooKoo, the guy at Squeal and the Owner at McClure's all have bad stuff to say about Smoking Buddha.
There is playful banter, but they kind of go too far in some tweet. But yeah they are all in Hogs for a Cause.

NolaSmokehouse is the guy who left Smoking Buddha. From what I heard today. The guy just said "those guys trash talk a lot and couldn't stay open a month in Metaire"
It was the Facebook account that had all the BS trash talk on it. Like saying not to get Microwave BBQ from BooKOO. and things like that.
I'm not quite sure what started it, but I follow all of these guys on Facebook.
