Also has a breakfast slider … grilled hot sausage, bacon, fried egg, cheese, and their jalapeño sausage cheese bread. Only open from 9am-4pm which sucks

Covid BS caused them to cut hours, they intended to go back to normal hours but can't find workers. On top of that they lost a couple workers that quit last week. Sucks because their stuff is good !

Ok so I just had a Cajun Blaze. The drive thru is a cluster. They have teenagers outside with Walkies taking orders and the line was extremely long and slow.

I ordered a Cajun Blaze Combo and with tax it was $14 & some change. The burger was solid and pretty close to the original. Kind of reminded me of a Five Guys burger in a way. The grilled onions is what made it. The fries were good but were portioned small. Not sure if there's a bigger option. Same with the drink. It was slightly larger than a kids cup.

All in all it was good but overpriced. Also I'd wait a few weeks before going to get everything ironed out.

Yeah, that seems high for what is still a fast food burger combo. I can get a whole meatball poboy from Olde Tyme with Zapps and a drink for that or just a tad less.

That said, I'm sure they're going to sell out of burgers, so can't really blame them for taking advantage of the extremely high demand.

The good news is they're really busy because I want them to be successful.

Thx for posting your experience brother,
price is higher than …

I’ll wait in line for one when the craze slows down. I honestly don’t think BT can keep that same price and maintain its customer base. People in Laffy ain’t paying $14 for a hamburger combo meal.

With a name like that, it would be a shame if Cajun Blaze isn’t up to your standards.

Good stuff, just need a raincoat and a roll of paper towels to eat it

It's worth the mess though !

Speaking of $14, on Friday's, the Seafood plate at Olde Tyme is a little less and more than you can eat

Their fish is outstanding. Shrimp, oysters, fries, small salad, bread, and NOLA jambalaya.

It's pretty tasty and just a side. Owner is from NOLA, thus you get their taste. Come down and try some fish courtbouillon made in Ville Platte/Eunice/Crowley/Lafayette area. It's made with tomatoes and will knock your socks off !

Just drove by BT on the way home. Probably 25 cars in line as I kept driving. Gotta be an hour wait

Now a courtbullion MUST have tomatoes. Make it often. However, I used to cook jambalaya at our plant in New Orleans for United Way and watched all the tomatoes going in and would shake my head.
