Love Maxine’s on Shine to the Moon and Back! We don’t go to Orlando with out visiting. Never disappoints. Great menu with unique offerings. Live shows on the weekends. We did brunch last year and it was fantastic. Love the neighborhood vibe. Ask to meet the owners. Maxine and Kirt are usually there. “Roxanne” their event coordinator is a Baton Rouge Girl and definitely brings a special flair to the place.

Thanks for this post! I’ll be looking for dinner in Orlando next Thursday night before I fly out to Costa Rica.

Maxine's is OK

Le Coq au Vin(Orange Ave) is terrific, chef's frequent on their days off.

The Boathouse at Disney Springs is really good as well.

Orlando unfortunately for those of us used to New Orleans/Louisiana having an abundance of great restaurants is a culinary wasteland. LOL

Orlando may not have 5 star dining on every corner but if you know where to go there is plenty to choose from if your willing to make the drive.
Dinning in Epcot. - Le Cellier in Canada
Wilderness lodge. - Artist Point. (Bring your gold card)
Chathams is extremely nice. Upscale dinning.
Luma on Park
Winter park fish company
The rusty spoon
To name a few.
All are really good. Some large others small.
Maxine’s on shine is a small neighborhood restaurant that packs a unique dinning experience difficult to find anywhere else.
