Not too fancy of a dress code, whatever a shirt tucked into slacks translates to in women clothes.

Get the duck.

Mansurs is a nice restaurant but I've seen a good variety of clothing styles there, with the obvious exception of casual shorts, t-shirts etc. For example, business dress would be great. Slacks and blouse or sweater would be great. You'll also see coats/ties and ladies in dresses. It's the kind of place folks go to celebrate anniversaries, bdays, promotions, etc so sometimes you'll see very dressed up for fun. All the food is good - we've eaten there since it was over in Village Sq on College, pre-walmart. Any fish dish is superb. Hope this helps and hope she enjoys it!

had the stuffed softshell crab last week. the stuffing sort of overpowered the crab, if that makes any sense.

as the previous poster suggested, the duck is great, as is the fish.

The chargrilled oysters are good. The cream of brie soup is good. And both are appetizers.

Business casual attire. A sport coat for gents would not be out of place but it is not necessary either.

French bread comes to you warm in a french bread wrapper. Nice touch.

I didn't have a lot of wine there but what I had was good. Seemed like a smallish selection of unusual but quite nice wines. There are good selections by the glass.

I particularly liked the cedar-roasted redfish.

Red Snapper w/ crab on top was killer last week. Along with a Woodford reserve bourbon on the rocks it was a great meal.

I'd say that it's "unbelievably excellent" or "to die for."
