What size magnalite roaster is the most common? I'm looking at a 15-in. I see the xl is 17 quarts.

I have both the 15 and the 18 inch, and use them both.

Don't buy a new one. Go on eBay and search for Wagner Ware Magnalite, find one in good condition and it'll be some of the best money you've spent. The new ones are made in China and the quality is terrible compared to the older ones that were made in Ohio.

I have McWare and a few old Magnalites. I like them both equally well.

OP, I have a 13", it's my most used pot aside from a skillet that I cook eggs in. You can make a 4 cup rice jambalaya in it.

All negative effects of cooking in aluminum can be mitigated by prolonged exposure to alcohol. You ever cooked something in a magnalite pot with out a beer close by?You good baw....

I think that kind of went out the window when people realized that anti-perspirant has aluminum in it and you smear that stuff on your body and keep it there all day.

Actually antiperspirant is really bad too specially if ya love down here in the humidity. It can clog ya glands and cause all manor of infections. I have known several people who had to have surgery on their pits cause of it. Ask a doc or dermo they will tell ya it is also really bad for you.

Ok kids let me learn ya there are 2 different products on the p;it smell aisle. antiperspirant and deodorant. Antiperspirant is to make you not sweat it stops up your glands so you dont sweat. Thats bad sweat is body waste trapping it in you is bad specially in heat where ya sweat alot No one should use anti sweat here. Deodorant is what the name applies ya sweat but it takes the odor out. You really should use deodorant those who sweat alot and paint antiperspirant to not sweat are asking for trouble So no I do not stink.....much or ever when in public I use deodorant and dont like using aluminum anything
