I have 3 dressed rabbits to make a sauce piquant.

And for some reason I feel good about this game.

I wanted to do some st louis style ribs, but the store was out, so im doing some baby backs. Will also throw a bunch of serranos on there from my garden to eventually dry out and turn into a powder.

Lc,
How do you like cooking/smoking on your akorn? Got one not to long ago, really enjoying grilling on it. I have yet to smoke on it. Any suggestions?

I have an Akorn too, love that thing. Easy to dial in and keep low and slow. I use an Auber PID for over night cooks so I don't have to mess with it. Finally got some charcoal I like -- HEB brand hardwood lump. Majority of the bag has huge chunks, unlike the tiny shite you get in Royal Oak

Just like Wes said. Smoke stone, wireless thermometer, and lump charcoal. There's also a lot of really good information on kamadoguru about them. I got mine on sale for $188 and it is well worth the money since I wasn't looking to drop 600+
